The Finalists for the Irish Franchise Awards 2015

The Irish Franchise Association has announced that the largest ever number of entries received for the Franchise Awards has been reduced to a list of 2015 finalists from which the overall winners will be chosen this week.

The Irish Franchise Awards celebrates 20 years this year, making it one of the longest running business awards ceremonies in Ireland. The awards recognise excellence in franchising and reward outstanding achievements of businesses and individuals in the franchise industry.

The judging panel for the 2015 Irish Franchise Awards includes Newstalk business presenter and former Irish Dragon Bobby Kerr; Greg Swift, head of enterprise at the Dublin Local Enterprise Office; Michael Bradley, former CEO of the Irish Franchise Association, and Elaine O'Regan of the Sunday Business Post.

The Irish Franchise Awards 2015 Finalists

The awards represent both retail and service industries in 13 categories. Finalists include:

  • The ZipYard – for Best Franchise, Best Franchisee, and Marketing (retail)
  • TechCare – for Best Newcomer, and Best Emerging (retail)
  • Home Instead – for Best Franchise and Best Franchisee (service)
  • Right at Home – for Best Emerging and Best Newcomer (service)
  • Fit4Less – for Best Emerging Service
  • Card Connection – for Outstanding Growth, and Best Franchisee (service)

The Irish Franchise Awards 2015 Ceremony

The awards will be presented at a formal black-tie awards ceremony at The Clyde Court Hotel in Ballsbridge on Friday 27 March 2015. The ceremony is anticipated to be an impressive business event reflecting the strength of the franchise sector over the last two decades.

David Killeen, Chairman of the Irish Franchise Association, said: “The awards are an opportunity for us to formally acknowledge the excellent work being done by all franchise practitioners in growing the sector, consolidating existing businesses and creating significant new, sustainable jobs...I’d like to personally thank all entrants to the awards and wish all of the finalists the very best of luck.”
