Young glass cutter Daniel Swarovski decided in 1895 to settle in Tyrol, Austria to manifest his crystal cutting plans. That's the beginning of a worldwide success story. In 1977, Swarovski first entered the jewellery and fashion market starting in the US. And while it is nowadays well known in the whole fashion world, it's still a family business.
