In 2001, Mail Boxes Etc was acquired by UPS. MBE was acquired in May 2009 by Mail Boxes Etc. Worldwide S.r.l., a newly formed subsidiary of Italy's Fineffe Group. With this new management, they are now present in 38 countries with a network of 1,600 locations.
