Right at Home was founded in 1995 in the US. Our first Irish operation opened in January 2013 in Dublin and we currently have six offices serving Dublin, Galway, Cork, Kildare, Wicklow, Mayo & Roscommon. We are offering franchises throughout Ireland.

The Homecare Marketplace

Within the last couple of decades, the number of Irish people aged 65 and older has started to increase at rates never before seen and that growth will continue to gain momentum. The latest population projections from the Central Statistics Office (CSO) showed 2011 levels of 532,000 old people could reach 860,700 by 2026, and increase to 1.4 million by 2046. Many of these will need assistance in order to remain independent.

Franchising With Us

When you join us as a franchise owner, we make the commitment to share our experience and knowledge, and provide the tools and resources you need to build your own successful home care business.

We provide formal training at our office in Dublin over the course of two weeks. Using our bespoke RightStart programme, we guide you through a fluid process leading up to the opening of your office. Our support team works with you to prepare your office for launch, and you’ll have regular contact with your designated support manager.

With Right Start, we:

• Prepare you, the franchisee, to operate a successful Right at Home office
• Introduce to you the systems, methods and procedures that we use
• Outline our systems for administration, bookkeeping, accounting and inventory control
• Lay a strong foundation from which you can build your business

Subsequently, after you have opened your business, we also offer continuous training to help you to grow and expand.

WE PROVIDE GUIDANCE ON:

• Marketing and sales development
• Employee recruitment and retention
• Delivery of quality companionship and personal care

What You Need

YOU MUST HAVE:

• The appropriate amount of funding
• The willingness to dedicate yourself to building the business full time
• Prior experience in managing employees
• Motivation and sincere passion for the home care sector

The Costs

The initial franchise fee is €45,000 plus VAT. You will also need working capital, which varies depending upon location, rate of growth and numerous other factors. Typically you will need €150,000 in total, and these costs will be discussed with you in detail when you enter the franchise process.
